Hi - i'm in Cape Town over Xmas staying in Claremont. I'd like to take my bike to Simonstown on the train and ride the peninsula from there. Is it possible, is it wise? Anyone done it?

Why would you take your bike via train to Simon's Town. Why not ride from Claremont around the peninsula. If you get tired, stop at Jubilee Square for coffee. RIDE, RIDE, RIDE.

Well yeah but that's not the question DoubleS!

How about if i take the stationary trainer to the train station, & exercise on the train to and from - will that get me an answer?

Joe, why do you want to take the train?

I like trains. I've got history with bikes and trains.

Ride

The

Train

.........and take my bike.

It didnt seem like a lot to ask.

Most probably. Despite what the white supremacists would have you believe.

We used to catch the train from Nigel to Jozi to get ripped at Alcatraz.
