Not so lucky was Bryan Samson in the breakaway bunch up ahead who also got nailed by another Eland and broke his pelvis. Owww... If you look at the end of the video, Bryan is the guy in the old orange Cycle Lab Vets 40+ kit to whom they are applying the most relevant first aid for a fractured pelvis; a cool (?) water bottle!
