W@nna-BE Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Hey Hubbers, yesterday i took my bike to Linden Cycles to fit my newly acquired wheels (campy Eurus, have a look at the pictures section to see how she looks now ) and whilst i was there i enquired about new tyres as the GP 4000 on the wheels were a little worse for wear!so i came across some red Vittoria Rubino Pro SLicks which were extremely well priced! alot cheaper then the R600 odd for the Gp 4000 whats your opinion on them Vittoria's ??

I got two sets on different new bikes, not one of those 4 tyres lasted longer than 700km, with punctures aplenty as they slowly died.I would not use them again even if I got them for free.The Conti's at R600 is a bit steep, CWC has them for R480, last time I was at Solomons they were R490 odd. Just beware that they will quickly show signs of small cuts, which will not necesssarily result in the loss of pressure or a puncture, although they are not super puncture resistant.
