Rip http://www.news24.co...f-bike-20111109 2011-11-09 20:07Bloemfontein - A 65-year-old man was killed when he fell off his bicycle and was struck by a bus in Oranjesig, Bloemfontein, in the Free State, on Wednesday, paramedics said. ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said paramedics found a man lying in the road with his bicycle on top of him. Apparently the man was on his way to work and was riding on the pavement when he slipped and fell onto the road. He was able to get up, but was hit by a bus which was unable to avoid him. Jackson said the cyclist suffered severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
