Here is a image of some guy doing a CX race...it's really a shame it's not in SA, cause 80% of our MTB races are soooo tame technical wise it's better suited for a CX race.

GT and Scott CX bikes are currently available, so i would imagine Omnico and Western Flyer will be bringing in some tyres as well.

Deamon, at the 94.7 expo I spoke to Omnico and they have a GT and Scwinn XC bike and Kenda tyres. The bikes are not that expensive. the GT is about 12k with Rival groupset and Schwinn about half that.

Can someone explain why the bike have cantilever brakes and not V-brakes. It can't be for mud because MTB also ride in the mud.
