Temba has a happy knack of getting runs in difficult situations. Definitely a match changing partnership by them. Got us out of a hole and is given us a slight upper hand which the partnership between Vern and Morne has cemented. Hopefully they can get the lead to over a 100 and then I think we can look at pushing for victory.

A crucial counter punch! Could turn out to in fact be the winning difference but see how the match plays out.

Lots of time left indeed

The pitch is still in excellent condition

Little wear and tear

That'll be good for the Proteas who may need to chase a couple ????

Generally the Kiwis make solid test pitches, so no worries there.

I would like to see us get as close to or over a 100 run lead as possible. That should put plenty pressure on the Black Caps batting line up which our bowlers can/could exploit. Thing is Kane Williamson is in decent form barring his low score in the first innings and is well capable of landing an equally good counter punch himself. It has been entertaining and good test cricket from both sides! I so love a good contest!

Hopefully the rain stays away for this one.

Afaik no rain has been predicted. Also 12 wickets on the first day the match tends to end in a result.

Maharaja magic

6 wickets

Second fiver in a row. Handy player. Nice to see that Morne was in among the wickets as well!
