SRAM Cassette & Shimano Groupset

Just want to confirm my findings:

I bought a Jalco DM 17 MTB wheelset with 8 speed SRAM cassette. Have shimano groupset, but from what I've seen, there wont be any issues, right?

Just got it for my IDT as I got tired and tyred of swopping the tyre all the time  and then maybe later use them on a commuter/ single speed project

The casette has aprox 250km on, not going to mention the price, but I think its a verryyy good deal

If it's just the rear wheel (with it's cassette) you're swapping out it should be fine.

Can the experts maybe comment on the whole cassette & chain wearing together thing? Will this be an issue?

There won't be any issues, assuming of course that your Shimano is also 8 speed.

My bike was bought new with Shimano gears and a Sram cassette.

Thanks guys, i knew that in the back of my head and it was confirmed by seller, but wanted to double check...yeah, all 8 speed. Already thinking to start getting some parts together for a nice commuter/single speed build
