Benjamin Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Do lots of our riding in and around giba. Avg usually between 16 and 17 kph. When we ride back in via the tar road at the top, always a flat box interval from bottom of the hill below Summerveld up to the mushroom farm, then down the road to the start of gravity. Avg there about 40. Amazingly find avg speeds nearly always about the same around giba, whether we "racing " or not.

I know a lot of people ride in from Waterfall etc and I'd assume your speeds along the roads in would obviously be a lot higher, as mentioned by you.

In races usually a bit higher than that.
