How Much would you pay for a Oakley Radar Frame??

Ok so after a period of impulsive buying i ended up with more lenses than frames and since the big o do not sell frames loose i posted a wanted add. after a bit of negotiation( more bullying from his side and desperation from my side) i am now paying R900 for the frame. His argument was if a radar is R1900 is a shop and oakley asks R800 for a lens the frames value is wats left over???

 

Firstly i am not flaming anybody!!!!! I just want to see if i am in the wrong my thinking a frame cant be worth more than R300???

 

I am paying that price as i am truly desperate for the frame so feel free to caal me a poephol for doing so

You both suck at math! If the new radars cost R1900 and the lenses R800 ... you should be paying R1100

Supply. Demand. You say you can't buy the frame on its own through regular channels so have to buy a used one. Decide how much you willing to pay to have a complete set of sunnies. If seller accepts that, happy days. If not then no deal. Btw, what lenses are those you can buy for 800 bucks?

Hit ebay, frames from around R500, Ive never payed more that R600

A cheap option will be: buy/get a moertoe frame, send it to Oakley and for R200 they will send you a brand new frame. And sommer ask Oakley what a new frame cost and explain your situation.

I used Oakley's replacement policy for broken frames before.. granted they take the old ones, but they charge R150 for any radar frame.
