Warning to all cyclist riding around Botlary rd

I would just like to warn every cyclist cycling around Botlary road to be very carefull. On Satuday morning an eldery cyclist was cycling along Cecil Morgan Drive, Brackenfell when he was pulled over by 2 black males "wanting to buy his bike". Fortunately a fellow cyclist came along and asked what was going on, they then got in the car and took off. The bike was very old in the first place, but it would appear as if these blokes had ulterior motives. I do not know the description of the car and the exact details, but please be aware especially when cycling alone and early in the morning.

Its not the first time I've heard of problems along that stretch.

 

Its such a shame too. I enjoy riding it.

Sorry but I do not have specifics My dad spoke to the the guy involved and all that he told me was that it happened on Cecil Morgan Drive. I would assume it to be that stretch where they are still busy developing not where the houses start.

I know, its good that you tell me cause they will eventually target that road...I am actually surprised that they haven't yet...

In summer I cycle along that road at 4 in the mornings before work
