The Big Bad Norm Posted January 3, 2012 Share Hi, Stupid question, but can someone tell me how to measure my seatpost width? I need to buy a new one, and not sure if it is the post width or the frame width... Many thanks
divernick Posted January 3, 2012 Share Take a tape measure and wrap it around the seatpost. Input the circumference here to give you the diameter.

no calves Posted January 3, 2012 Share pull out the seatpost. put on reading glasses..... and voila be hold! if it is an alu post it is imprinted in the seatpost near the limit marker or take it to any decent lbs and the will tell you width just my looking at it( your eyes get trained in these things) Edited January 3, 2012 by no calves
MrJacques Posted January 3, 2012 Share A vernier calliper should be able to tell you the width. I saw a cheapie at Game the other day for less than R20.
