I did the 94.7 with a cable tie whirring against the spokes. Stays much better than cards

as far as i can make out the cards in spoke thing is bragging rights to fixie messenger races, either attended or won not to sure which..

Spoke cards were originally laminated cards inserted in the spokes to identify participants in Alleycat races. Because these races are informal and inherently dangerous they are not really legal. These cards were placed in the spokes of the bicycle, and as a result, less obvious than say numbers on the racers backs which meant attracting less attention.
