Tacx NEO burning out?

Hi all, yesterday my Tacx NEO gave me a "overheating" warning during an indoor training session. I stopped, gave it 10 min to cool down, and then continued training. After about 5 min it started pouring out smoke from the top vent.

Has this happened to anyone before, if so, what was the problem?

Also, where can one take a Tacx indoor trainer for repair work?

Hi Jaco. Exact thing happened to me. I checked online and it is a thing. There are two fans. Put it on and see if both fans start turning. One of my fans burned out and it didn't turn and it seemed to also have burned out the main motherboard thing, so basically scrap. Specialized also checked it out but was dead and they sent it to Garmin which gave me a new one at reduced price. Not ideal at all, bit stuck between rock and hard place here.

Knipe Racing (CPT) has been mentioned a couple of times for IDT repairs and service.
