Neil Smit Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Hi all I bought a second hand suunto t6d a month ago. Im having difficulty with the training aspect of it. All the components are paired. When riding the watch indicates the speed and heart rate but not the distance. When attempting to start a training session the start/stop button has no effect. After about an hour or so the training session randomly starts!!!!???? What am i doing wrong?? Thank you in advanceNeil

Got back to the guest house and nothing worked. Bottom line in my opinion is the watch is way to complicated - in fact so complicated not even Suunto can get it to work

Bottom line in my opinion is the watch is way to complicated - in fact so complicated not even Suunto can get it to work Don't think the watch is that difficult, rather think the support is useless........... (that includes the handbook)It gives you step 1, 5, and 12, and you need to figure out what needs to be done in between.

Interesting...I have the same watch and I do not have any problems with it. Do you have a manual for it? If you press die mode button in for a few sec you will get the menu from there go to display end setup you training screens….just use the manual or go and download it if you don’t have it. It is really straight forward once you get to know the watch.

SeanMort Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I had issues with my T3D when I first set it up. The speed readings were erratic and it just did its own thing. So I went and bought new batteries for the watch and all the devices. No more issues.

It is really straight forward once you get to know the watch. I hold the button in (middel right), go to training, and then press the start/stop button (top left), without a response. The last 2 times the beep sound of the training only started 10-15km into the training session... Would it be possible to type the step by step to get the watch to start training plllleeeaaassseeeee.....
