^{Amazing how everyone here has an opinion they think matters. CWC should simply state that it is by invitation and you are welcome to apply to be invited, rather than attempt to appease everyone. Is everyone seriously put out about this and distracting this effort by this junk??? And then you wonder why these type of events stop being run.....}

Well done Chris Snr, Jnr and Melanie for taking initiative. Hubbers have been moaning for years that racing has become too expensive. Instead of trying to put a race together, you've focussed your attention to a select few and gave them something to really rave about. My prediction is that this type of thing will become more common in Road Cycling (for its lack of multi day events) and mountain biking (paying R25 000 for a 7 day race is not in everyone's budget).

If I was a cycling event orginiser, I'd have 2 and 3 day tours just about every weekend.
