Cannondale (58cm) - 8.2kgGiant (Medium) - 8.4kg I am planing to use the bike for normal riding/races and for triathlons/ironman. Cippo Posted February 18, 2012 Share I would go for the Cannondale. Maybe look at getting a 56cm instead of 58cm. I'm sure you could get away with it. Take your old bike measurements with you to see if it's possible. I must say the Giants are good bang for buck though. Nothing wrong with the 105 on the Dale. skatz Posted February 18, 2012 Share I ended up getting the 56cm Cannondale! It does seem to be the better bike and at a good price of R18500 (although they are both really nice bikes!) Tankman...well there isn't a Shimano BB30 crank and it also came with an Ultegra rear derailer. Agreed the Giant is probably a little more aero...but both being road bikes they will never be like the real thing...have to settle with hopefully the best all rounder.
