Stolen GT Zaskar 29er - Hout Bay

My Brand new GT Zaskar 29er (White & red) was stolen out of my garage in Hout Bay last night. The local redistribution experts forced open my garage door and helped themselves to my bike and tools. This is 2012 model and there aren't too may around. Please let me know if you spot this "baby". Thank goodness my road bike was in the house and is safe and ready for the Argus!

Will keep an eye out. Noticed a lot of awesome rides cruising around Hangberg and the valley. haven't seen a GT yet. Mostly cubes and one Bulls.

There was a Bulls stolen a few days back.

This Bulls bike has been appearing for a few months. Never had the opportunity to stop since being seen in dodgy areas and me being alone.

 

Will spread the word about the bulls in paarl. Got friends that cycle in and around paarl.

This MTB has been recovered by SAPS. I put out reward posters all over Hout Bay and had my first call in this regard within an hour. The bike changed hands a few times in the Hangberg area but my informer gave me a name and a location, which I handed over to the Police.

I am very happy to get my bike back even though the carbon back stay was cracked and I have had to replace the frame.

Thats awesome What did the cops and your informant say, are there any links to your bike going missing and the massive amount of thefts in Cape Town recently. Who was this changing hands with so many times?

I have had a valuable bike stolen and am prepared to offer a reward for its return. Do you know of anyone I can contact in this regard. Mine was stolen in Noordhoek on sunday.
