Laces Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 I enjoyed the 50km. Organisers did well with what they have. Well done to them for getting to be able use parts of the equestrian side of the farm for the race. Not everyday that you can ride 50km at Northerns without doing some kind of double lap! I did not experience any bottlenecks Well done again! I enjoyed the route a lot but there were too many back-ups (starting with the traffic to get in to the farm). Surely seeding/ batching is needed on a route with that much single track and that many riders? At 10km's I was still getting stuck behind the white takkie brigade while they gripped their brakes down the slightest incline. RoboLuke 1

I asked the lady if she could warm it up, after a half-harted attempt, it was still cold - she refunded me. Commentator also threw a few swear words with kids around and some distasteful comments to finishers....
