Thats not a bad price considering they are super durable and last very long. Also they keep water out on wet days.

 

However I use mine for mountain biking exclusively, as soon as i am done riding and get home i take them off and store them away for minimal wear

Haha. yeah they aren't pretty. but they grip like a mofo. The rubber underneath is the same rubber rock climbing shoes (also ugly) have for that super grippiness.

 

It's a flat sole downhill shoe.

 

There are more "skate shoe" options.

I got the freeriders from mountainmailorder.co.za. super amazing! dont like the wet much tho, but that may just be because of the crappy pedals.....
