I have seen a few groups around there . Once saw a bunch getting together at the big shopping centre close to the Lobatse road , but I am sure our Botswana connection will give you info on monday , just bump post again monday morning .

Yang is in Moz.PM him.I have a friend in Maputo who rides both road and mtb with a bunch of guys including Yang and they have not hit any mines yet....touch wood

I jog around Maputo city often when I'm there and haven't seen any cyclist there. I am out early in the mornings...now that I know I will keep my eye on this thread...travel with bike in future coming up

O yes, FIGJAM - I would suggest an early start if you can't hook up with anybody on short notice...there are some really nice climbs around the city as well as nice flat speedy section...

Just tryng to get in contact to make arrangements.

Like I said, I'm looking forward to the feedback, please keep us updated...I spend more and more time in Maputo and other parts of Moz and would love to hit some trails there! As you know it is a lovely country, especially the interior north...

You right !! Had a few beers to many yesterday . Maputo also got a very healthy cycling community . I will send you contact info of somebody there that does these group rides a lot . First just gonna get his permission to share ! Sorry for confusion

Ask tim Fair . His Dad lives in Maputo. After all Richard Fair did complete the Epic training in the Maputo Flanders.
