HR...woman definately do fart!!

However...

Let me say the following with regards to Grenville.

I am fully aware that he does put on races. I am aware that he has tried to include road bikes, and increase the track's attendance. I am not denying that.

I have sweated at HNP, not just on the bike. I have cleaned toilets, swept the track, picked up rubbish and many other little jobs there over the years.

It is a clash of personalities SCOTTY, and if you have known Gren that long you will know that he is very passionate about cycling. And we need people like that in sport. But those people also need to accept that by trying to control everything, the tend to drive a wedge between themselves and others.

I will always clash with Gren, because we have very different personalities...I will not back down and I voice my opinion...but I also listen to other peoples opinions. I find Gren is not able to listen to anothers point of view objectively. But maybe thats just my opinion.

Merit in what you say about him being passionate Greyowl, recall how he used to hate to lose at mini football. LOL

You appear to be equally passionate so I hope that you find common ground and that getting cyclist's onto track is the winner. In the days of the supercycling chat forum there was mention of including a short MTB trail, which together with the BMX track would attract a lot more kids and other riders.

Grey Owl, I think you have missed the point of my post a little. The fact that you and Gren may have a personality clash is just fine. Not everyone can get along with everyone.

What I do have a problem with is that you as a club member openly come onto a public forum and chastize the club you belong to. Never before have I seen a Cycle Lab member come on the Hub and call Andrew an Idiot or a Telkom member call Sammajoor and Idiot and you just cannot tell me that everyone in their clubs gets along with them.

You have in a way put LPCC in disripute. Since your postings I have received some very snide comments from people riding in the Lido bunches which are uncalled for and what you need to realize is that what you say here affects all club members and not only yourself.

As for not greeting anyone, well that's something you need to work out for yourself, maybe not being friendly is the reason you do not receive your desired response.

Short trail MTB course? At HNP? That would be good! I had been thinking of a CYCLO CROSS course around the track! It would be rather cool dont you think?! I actually dont know much about MTB's, so I am not sure as to what a short course is.

Yes Scotty, as long as track cycling is the winner, I dont care who runs it.

Muxman...you would be really surprised at just how many people have an opinion regarding Mr S.

I do see the point of your post, and I see your concerns regarding the open nature of the forum and the reputation of the club.

However, If you read most of the posts regarding Mr S, or LPCC, you will notice the common theme...people are scared to come to the track because of him, and the attitudes that hang around him.

Lets face it, LPCC has been in disripute for a long time...long before I voiced my opinion.

Another thing...I am sure that all the members of the club are nice people. I do not doubt that.

I would never assume that a person is not nice...even if I had been told otherwise.

I have read through all of the posts muckman, and in these posts the only person to mention the club is you. Greyowl did not post the hollywood project it was someone else. In fact when you read through the postings carefully you will see that it is other people who refer to the hollywood project.  Greyowl is also unsure as to where the hollywood project comes from.

Mike the topic is closed and I do not have the energy or inclination to go back through all the postings to prove you wrong.

The situation is much like watching TV if you do not like the programme you are viewing change the channel in other words if you do not like the club you belong to go to another one, simple!!

But rest assured next time I see Grey Owl on the road I will greet him, shake his hand and invite him for a beer, I am not saying he is a bad guy, I just do not agree with his methods of raising an internal club dispute on a public forum, kinda like what's done in Vegas stays in Vegas.

On this topic now Muxman "OUT"

Hey...you raised the topic, now dont back out!!

I have read through the threads myself, and I actually never mentioned the club. I definately did not post the "Hollywood Project" thread...as it was pointed out, I also did not know where the name came from!!

I do not belong to the club for 2008...just so that you know.

But I will greet you on the road in future, and I dont drink, so it will have to be a coke!

i don't care about these two kissing (and, although i did admit earlier on this thread that i'm gay, i wouldn't kiss muxie - ok, maybe after about a dozen beersLOL), but i want the massage you offered, greyowl, damnit!

You can have it...thanks for bailing me out!! The only massages I get are from those hottie chinese ladies anyway...must admit, those "sport rubs" are pretty invigorating!

Who's scared to bad mouth their club.

I HATE MY CLUB. They always drop me on the hills, they never change my tube when i get a flat, they expect me to wake up @ 5 am saturdays & sundays, Make me ride to hell & gone every weekend, they never wash my bike, they don't give me any sponser money, they never arrange flights and accomodation for the Argus. And worst of all - they actually expect me to pay annual membership fees.

But i enjoy the pain so i stay

MadMarc...thats an interesting perspective!!! I am not afraid to bad mouth my club tho...(former club) But, I do not have anything to bad mouth them on...seems Muxie misread all of my posts, and my anger was directed at the chairman of my club, not the club itself.

But I hear your pain...wish someone at my club would offer to clean my bike...in a thong!!! No that would make club fee's worth it!!
