LBS near Greenstone in JHB?

Hi

 

Which LBS is closest to the Greenstone area that you guys can recommend? Specifically for the quality and pricing of the workshop? I have been to Johnson Cycles in Edenvale, but i find their pricing expensive...

Well I live right near Greenstone and for services I have a guy in fourways and for parts and stuff I either go to finish line in kempton or cayjees or whatever.. depends who has the best price.. I refuse to step foot into johnsons cycles even though i could probably walk there.. He is such a rip off and a crook..

Finish Line, Clint and his team are top class.

 

There's also Impey's cycles in Bedfordview shopping center, have not used them for service but prices are reasonable.

Ja i finish line is my kempton place i mentioned.. Very good prices on bikes and they seem like honest guys.. Arthur usually helps out a lot.. Tony Impey is alright, They dont seem too interested in you when you go there though.. Never had a service there..

Thanks for the feedback. Was hoping for something near Greenstone as this is close to my work - for the times when I don't have time to visit the LBS near home. BUT glad to see that I am not the only one finding Johnson Cycles totally stupid with their prices. Was told yesterday they want to charge me R100 to quickly set the gears. Phoned 2 other shops who ask R40 or R50 for that. I now refuse to use them!

for R150 i will do a full drive train lube service for you .

chain of and cleaned

cassette off and cleaned

cables lubed

gears set .

 

Im in Greenstone and do work from home for those who struggle to get to shops .
