HELP - KHS Alite 3000

Hi,

 

I've been looking for a good second hand bike for around 5k and found a KHS Alite 3000 thats been rebuilt by a guy called Hannes Neehlings

 

Xtr derailers and shifters, xcr shock with remote lockout and a brand new alite 3000 frame...

 

Problem is not many people know the brand and I've never heard of it either... Really need some advice?

 

I know the shock isn't great but rest seems good, but how is the frame?

How old is the bike?

Is it your size?

Did you test drive it?

Can you post a picture?

Morninigside Cycles sold KHS for years and I have had a couple in the past, don't know the current models, but they were good frames in the past.

the bike has been built by this oke, but frame seems brand new and apparently has done about 200kms. the derailers etc all look very good.

 

I tested it and it seemed perfect, but I dont really know what "perfect" is as I'm not very experienced with having ridden various bikes. It's definitely the right size though.

If you can bargain him down a bit on the price this bike will suffice , until you want to upgrade at a later stage.

Great choice and awesome frame. I lost a KHS and is still sad about it.
