if the items in question (polar) is displayed in the retailers shop on consignment, it would explain the pricing being the same in all the shops.

 

take your lbs for instance, will they really want to tie up 50k for 10 HRM's that may take a year to sell out?

 

places like sportsmans/totalsports etc has the buying power to tie up money in stock like that, but this will limit the distribution of said product seriously.
