Anyone using the OEM/No Name Brand Carbon road clinchers

Hi, I am interested in a set. Look pretty reaonable and good quality as well as quantity, plus they are from the same manufacturers as the no name brand carbon frames. I will save a bundle if they are okay.

 

Has anyone bouhgt these wheels and if so how are they performing ?

I reckon the should be safe, they should at least maybe buckle before they snap if they will

I used a set for several years (unbranded equinox). good wheels, carbon braking surface finally wore out, so change the rear hub and use them for track riding now. good value

I actually think a lot of manufacturers entry level wheels are a generic mould and they just put on their own branding

Hmm - you can source these exact wheels directly yourself from the manufacturers and will land them here quite a bit cheaper. Nice to know though. My ethical quandary is round whether I give somebody R2k for warranty....

Agreed totally. As are the frames. The one carbon frame looks a lot like the Stumpjumper and Cannondale Flash frame....
