Bike is in the process of being rebuilt, new bearings in and new bars are on their way.

downloaded a cool app for my BB

32 days 15hrs 4min and 30sec

WoooHooooo

I was looking at cool android apps for the alps. one of them allows you to point your phone camera at any peak, and it identifies it and tell you how far away it is. Might be useful on our little adventure!

haha! they let me and Peach in... so they should let just about anyone in!

Although... did you shave your beard for the passport photos? Cos if you didn't that might work against you

But on a serious note... did you guys do your visa submission though Capago? If so, you should hear back in the next day or 2. Those guys are on the ball!

The visa thing takes quick.

On the trail front. you NEED to go to Morgins. It's well worth the ball ache to get there. 5 trails with loads of alternate lines. The trails are more difficult than their color grading would suggest tho if you compare it to the other parks in the PDS. So much so that my mate Tom commented "these people are colorblind".

Some things I learned this year.

The 2 best places to go in the rain are Chatel and Nauchettes.

Pleney seems to handle the rain ok too.

Peach and I were discussing tyre choice yesterday. What are you running? What would you recommend?

(Peach is leaning towards High Rollers. I only have minnion DHFs in new condition. May have to buy something else)

Minions can handle the wet a bit better than high rollers so you don't have to go out and get wets. Remember. There are trails that never dry out.

I've already pulled the trigger on High Rollers (2.5's SuperTacky).

Code Goodridge conversion complete.

New BB done.

Just need to install the new chain ring, cassette & bars & I'm good to go.

Super_mil, what connectors should one buy to do a goodridge on codes?

Do you have those remaining new parts arriving in your current CRC order?
