Does anybody know if the route was changed for 30km and the 60km race?

Can anybody supply a link for the route profile for this years race?

Did it 2years ago. Up and down,with a nice climb near the end to some kind of signal tower.with a long downhill on the other side. There was no singletrack. Dont know if they changed it. Think it was just over 1200m climbing.

I did it about 3 years ago. The route is undulating with mainly jeep track. Some short, sharp climbs and then the main one up to the radio towers with a long, rocky descent. It had rained a couple of days before and the clay surface felt like you were riding on velcro. Tough going. Plus it was frikken cold at the start, the puddles on the ground were iced over. The route is not that scenic, low scrub throughout. Not bad, but I woudl save my fuel to drive to another race.

think i'll give this one a miss, its quite a distance to drive from me, mast silvermine saturday morning should suffice, and will be rewarded with single track at the end.....

Its one of the easier 30km out there not very technical and its about 27km.

Epic fail for the 60km route. I rate there were about 100 riders who lost 25 minutes, because they got lost. Did anyone find out what went wrong?

 

But overall - really nice race. Goodie bag was brilliant.

There was a marshal after the gravel road section directing 60km to turn right and 30km to go straight. There weren't any marking to show the way so if you didn't hear the marshal or got there at the wrong time you could have chosen the wrong way.
