I'm also wanting to know, am wanting to get kit made for our club and at that price it would be great for us as students

unless thats before duties, because I got quoted $34 for bib plus top which is about R272 but with duties it will go up to R460

Eish missed this, I will find out from our club chairman & let you know, he did all the negotiations & ordering,

I just designed the look of it.

Ok so here's the deal. The dudes ar a bit hesitant to give up their supplier BUT....

Being the business men that they are, they wanna start their own cycling clothing

suppliers. BUT...wait there's more... I spoke to my buddy this morning & he said

that if anyone is looking for kits, he will supply it to them @ the same price R 300

bib & shirt (min 50 units though) or else the China Man's moan a bit.

If anyone is keen, pls phone Johnathan on 083 406 7183 & I'm sure he can help.

Thanks

H

Late reply - my apologies

Okay so the clothes looks good and the price even better, but how is the chamois?? Is it still quality or is it just a piece of spundge cut to size??

The chamois is ok - good enough for a 4 hour ride. The sizing is a little out - I usually wear a L bib, but the ones from Mupi are a little tight, but not unwearable.

Ek sien nie SA as 'n country they ship to nie? hoe het jy jou goed hier gekry en wat was toe jou import duties en P&P op die ou end?

Shipping was something like $10, and both times I've ordered customs weren't interested in the package.

Here's a thought - buy it made in SOUTH AFRICA.

Am so sick and tired of hearing and reading about people buying crap from China because its so cheap - the crime, the economy in our country isn't going to change because of people buying everything they possibly can from overseas because its cheaper.

Yes things are more expensive because they are locally made, but they are generally of better quality and also it will help to keep many South African's in jobs. Everyone is so quick to buy things from overseas, but have any of you woken up to the fact that if you keep doing that there won't be a need to keep many people employed at all because everything will be shunted to overseas and hey you can just place your orders via email. No need to have an office and reps and staff in SA, so there go a whole lot more jobs.

Hey Crazy Child you are so right! Good for you...

I avoid anything Chinese, not only for quality reasons, but because they have wrecked our industry. Where we used to have 2 Lycra factories here in SA we now have NONE! Crazy for a sports mad market like SA.

You may get a laugh out of our webstore (currently under construction) - check the introductory slide show! http://www.slick.co.za/shop/

Guys, although I have not actually ordered anything from Slickman, I have gotten quotes from him and this dude's prices are pretty great!

Slick, I am finally busy with a design and will be ordering shirts in the new year for my trip to Europe.
