Hey Cois. Glad to hear things are still going well, all things considered. I'm afraid this pandemic is going to reveal a lot about the people around us and their compassion towards others or lack there of. With regards to visits to the Doc and high risk environments, maybe a good fitting N95 mask might help there? I know they aren't great for continual use and are more difficult to breath in compared to the surgical masks. Maybe one of the doctors on here can comment about what would be best for visits to the doctor where you may be in contact with other ill people in waiting rooms etc? Our rodeo here in Australia is just starting, we managed to dodge the first wave of infections, but now have community transmission in Victoria and New South Wales. I personally think we'll soon be joining the rest of the world with regards to covid cases. However on a positive note while reading some of the articles on the various news websites today, there seems to be some positive results on the vaccines developed here and in China. Fingers crossed this is actually the case. I'm not trying to start a mud fining contest between different suppliers of lights I'm trying to get a review for potential buyers who want to know how the light handles on a mountain bike, how well it works for single track etc.

Hey guys and girls I'm looking for someone to test and review one of my bike lights, as an unbiased independent reviewer over a few weeks I would preferably like someone who has been doing night rides for a little while now, and has used a few different lights so as to have a basis for their review, someone who rides both dirt and road would be ideal, but someone who sticks to the dirt would also be fine, as most of my queries regarding my lights are for MTB The light I'd like to have tested would be the single LED T6 lights I have, with a 6400mAh battery pack Thanks everyone who sent me messages, have got a few people who would be able to help.

Let me start off by stating the following, I in no way want to attach individuals or turn this post into a mud flinging match. It was stated on my advert that the lights I am selling are unsafe to the public, specifically the battery packs, this is not true as the seller did not contact me before hand to get all the facts and specifications of the packs. here is the stated text and video posted on the advertisement, I urge readerS to read the complete post before commenting etc. First off regarding the safety issue of the battery packs, the individual in the video above was not using a safety circuit when building that battery pack or when charging the battery that exploded in question. Run time testing is currently being done on the lights and an update will be posted with actual test results, not manufacturer claims for those interested. Again, I'd just like to state the battery packs that come with my lights are safe and aren't going to fail unless physically damaged or amerced in water. Speaking to the manufacturers this morning, that SPECIALIZE in battery manufacturing for various applications, and bicycle lights as an additional product, they have not to date had a battery explode, and have an annual revenue of $100 million, so are not some backyard company. let me just say, bombs are still a good thing to have in your saddle bag for emergencies as a get home or to help get to the finish. They just shouldn't be used to seat a new tires at home, rather use a compressor or floor pump if the tire sits tight enough on the rim.

The Bomb most likely caused your problem. If you open up your tire, you'll most likely find a booger or ball of coagulated latex. long story short, the CO2 causes a pH change that in turn causes the latex to coagulate. (latex needs an basic environment to stay liquid) alternatively fill your bath at home to the level of your valve and see if you cant find where the leak is, like you would do with a tube.

Know exactly what you mean, been riding a rigid carbon ss for about 2 weeks now, took my other bike for a spin yesterday and it felt like was riding on a cloud lol.

The fat valve on the tube that punctured is a Schrader Valve, the thin one on the spare is a Presta Valve, you can use a Presta valve on a Schrader valve rim as a quick fix, but not the other way around, as the schrader valve will not fit through the hole of the presta rim. What you need is a adapter, that screws onto the presta valve, and then you'll be sorted. But yes tubeless would be the way to go, It helps for devil thorns and the likes. Failing that second best would be slime tubes, they work but not as well as full on tubeless.

Hopefully someone in the craziness took down at least a number plate, I know its quite a shlep to do it, but people need to be accountable for their actions, even if nothing comes of it at least the driver will be on book in case something like this happens again in future so that a case can be built against the driver in question.
