2013 Fox Float F29 CTD 29er Fork

Does anyone know something about this fork? There is a seller on ebay that has these on offer but I can not find any info on the web. I can only find the RL & RLC.

 

The seller is colorado cycles and seems to be legit but I am not very sure if even google can not get any info on it?

I'm more of a set and forget rider, prefer not to have to fiddle with the bike all the time so I can just enjoy the ride. To my mind anything that's making it more complicated for the rider is a move in the wrong direction.

 

If there was some magical tilt sensor auto adjust to firm up for climbing maybe, that's what Steve Jobs would have insisted on.

 

Until then just give me a good suspension design with platform damping that I can ignore.

CTD replaces the old damper Fox used. Thinking is this:

 

Insteed of having to tweek your own fork or shock it comes with three pre-set settings

C = Climb

T = Trail

D = Descent

Flicking from the one to the other will auto set the usual stuff.

 

They'll spend a gazillion dollars advertising it in an effort to convince people that's what they need and want. For Joe Soap it'll do the trick, but if you like to tune your own suspension it'll frustrate the crap out of you.
