I hate rubber tubeless conversion strips. Currently I use Joe's strips, and the options are:

1. Tyres are that are HARD to get on, seal ok, but leave you with broken thumbs and hating the whole process

2. Tyres that are easy to get on, are hard to seal (well, not hard to seal, but I resent busting a bomb just to get a tyre to seal.)

I seem to remember that with Stan's, you just tape on Stan's version of plastic tape, bung in a tubeless valve and treat the rim as a tubeless rim.

Is this right? Or do you still need to bugger around with rim strips?
