Guys....... More help needed in the same regard!!!!

A good friend of mine, Justin, broke the bridge on some loaner 32mm Boxxers during the race this past weekend.

Any chance anyone has a set of lowers that they would be willing to part with for a little bit of cash.

He had to borrow forks because he broke some ancient Jnr T's the other day and didnt want to miss the race. The forks that were borrowed were supposed to be sold on the owners bike at the end of the month so Justin is pretty gutted about breaking them.

Ya they are on ... thanks a million

Just having a problem with the spacing of the rotor from teh hub - it seems the hub i have sits further in so i have to spacer the rotor out and spacer the brake caliper in to make it fit - its going to take some adjusting but im sure i can get it - also the 6 inch rotor that i had on previously suddenly doesnt work as the caliper sits further out and its either a 7inch or an 8 inch rotor that is needed so i'm tinkering at the moment to get it to work

Awesome! Glad it's all assembled.

Which rotor adapter are you using?

I used to run one of those fatty boxxer specific 8" adapters on there with a Hope Pro 2.

or even with a boxxer specific adapter/spacing washers is there still need to move the rotor out?

AAAH ... no i am using a standard 6 inch hayes/shimano adaptor - that must be the problem.

Cool will look for one of those in my stash and give it a try.

Ya will just see what i need and will check the spacing etc when im home from gym later.

But it looks cool - slackens the head angle nicely

@ Patches - got that same adaptor - threw on an 8inch rotor and the bikes HUNDREDS ... thanks for all your generosity ...

Now to get Grebel off his arse and get him onto the Wheeler for Gibas race on the 8th July.

ya ... just need to try figure out how to slow the rebound down in the back shock now - maybe i'll send it to Jeff and see what he can do

Also the through-axle front will make a big difference to the ride now

Hey! Be nice! Grebel is in the process of trying to get his body protected in the unfortunate event that he needs to part company with his chosen mode of transport unexpectedly. I have seen the Giba track and there are various trackside hazards that could cause GBH (Grevious Bobily Harm) should I run out of tallent, skill, luck or all of the above... Should hopefully get the ball rolling this weekend.

There is NO chance of me hurling myself down that hill in a long sleeve shirt and a XC lid...
