And while you're waiting why not write to Wendy Knowler, she loves GroupOn stories. And vendors that lift their prices to pretend you are making a saving. BTW when it comes to physical goods GroupOn usually acts as an agent, they don't buy stock themselves, they sell the goods, take their cut, pay the supplier to deliver. mikeMT Posted June 5, 2012 Share Well i just phoned in to cancel my deal and get a refund, will take 5 days, they (Groupon) will only have the stock within 4 weeks, supplied me my tracking number that i could track online with taxitrucks.co.za but would only be active by month end................today is the 5th June but i get a tracking umber that i can only track within 3 weeks???? Tiny K Posted June 5, 2012 Share Something sounds fishy regarding the Groupon deal...... the fact that they are taking so long to post the items says that they don't really have the items in stock. I on the other hand got 'scammed' big time - Paid R660 instead of R1200 for first time jump course (skydiving) and have now been hooked...... been jumping from a perfectly functioning plane for the last 6 months. mikeMT Posted June 6, 2012 Share Well guys, a further update, as mentioned i cancelled the Groupon deal and reordered through Magic-shine, received my parcel this morning (MJ-880) and merely awaiting refund from Groupon now, so now if i understand correctly the only difference here now is that Pyro lights run at 4000K whereas the light i received from Magic-shine is a standard unit supposedly running at 6000K as per Pyro website, either way will test out my unit in the morning, but all seems great now.
