Sondela (Bela Bela) nice family riding weekend

Went to Sondela last weekend - highly recommended if you want to get out and ride with the family - especially the kids. There is a nice long route for the fitter and more adventurous - flat but can get sandy in places. Great for the kids to see some game while on their bikes with plenty of singletrack

Yeah there's a race coming up at Sondela this weekend not so? I also did the Sondela MTB event about two weekends ago and that singletrack makes you feel like you are on a superbike, delicious!

our company is going to Mabaliningwe Nature reserve for the weekend on 23 November... I asked them if I can cycle in the reserve but alas NO... for the race they actually block off 60% of the park and move all the dangerous animals into that section...

 

Does anyone know where I can cycle? Sondela... do they allow day visitors?

Did you stay in the chalets ? The last I heard they had to rebuild a lot from the fire they had earlier in the year
