Guest Posted June 11, 2012 Share I have the GT (2011 model - GREEN) and its an amazing piece, well to me anyway.the 2011 doesnt have Shimano, but SRAM all round, but specced mostly the same. One thing, the Fox on the GT is dual air, the RS on the KTM is Solo Air. If you want a test ride on the GT, let me know, will be happy to help. I thought the Reba RL100T is dual air?

Guest Travis. Posted June 11, 2012 Share I went through the whole process myself. Ended up getting the GT. Everyone rides the Scott (I see them all over). The KTM is mostly SLX while the GT is full XT with a much better shock (RP23). What type of riding to do you? The GT is an All Mountain (120mm travel) vs the KTM is XC (100mm). I wanted a bike that can be thrown at anything and give me a full on smile (which it has done - it bombs downhill like a downhill bike and locking out makes it feel like an XC bike). The RP23 works like a charm on the bike and I normally have it either fully open or locked and you can really feel the difference. I haven't taken a ride on the KTM, so my opinion is a bit biased. Plus, you should see it IRL. It's a damn purty!
Ingosteinhage Posted December 20, 2013 Share I have two KTM 29er Phinx 2.29 and KTM SCARP Master, what quality bikes. never any technical issues and the manufactured quality is way above most other bikes. I'm selling the perfect condition Aluminium Frame 43cm Phinx 2.29 now as I use the new SCARP MAster Carbon mainly.Ingo cell.083 650 3771 Somerset West
