@ The op, agreed 100% with cptmayhem, although he is now nothing more than a certified babysitter/day daddy these days, the man still knows a bit about bikes.

Glad my little boy is home again. Been a helluva stressful week. Not like I can breastfeed the little bugger, so I was feeling super duper extra useless this week.

This SB is an 8 speed bike... And has parts that are a level (2 at times) lower than the KTM's...

cptmayhem fantastic post! I got the seller to throw in a pump, speedometer, canteen and a spare tire as offers and after reading your answer I guess I'll buy the KTM really appreciate the effort you took into writing that side by side comparison!

pleasure mate... I know how crap! my elastomer fork was to begin with, and I had the silverback's crank on my bike to begin with. Bent in 4 weeks...
