yikes!!

dunno how I feel about that. Much like the MET Parachute

I also wonder how protective those flimsy looking chin guards are. Heck, I've even known of Gyro Remedies caving in on impact and leaving the rider with a broken face.

From what I understand they were discontinued because, well.. they didn't work.

I thought there were too. But it seems they're back. The link takes you to the CRC page for the 2012 model.

If I was going to get a "semi-fullface" (which I wouldn't really)... this would probably be it

These are made specially for enduro style racing, where a rider needs ventilation for the 30-odd-kms, but also the protection off a full face.

As for the ultimate full face MTB lid... This is what my tax return is being tempted into getting for me

since I'm taking more and more risks on the xc bike... Also got a back/chest protector, knee and elbow guards as well as padded under shorts. Always using the knee and elbow pads. May use the other guards more as well in the future...

I'm totally with you on this... although I'm gonna look like a real gimp in spandex!!!

That's why they invented baggies... To stop you looking like a real gimp. :D

I agree. If you need a full face don't go half way. I want something for Enduro myself...

Unless you're Rene Wildhaber. I would never tell Mr 6-times-megavalanche-champ that he's a gimp
