Speed Devil Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Do what I do when people ride like that....Pull up next to them, roll down your window and ask them politely to ride in single file and on the shoulder of the road. If they start giving you hassles then start to move your car over to the left and force them on to the shoulder.......Make their swearing and cussing worth the while, at least you won't get any fingers because they will be too busy trying to keep from going under your wheels It will make them think twice the next time before they start swearing at motorists when they are actually the idiots!

Its about time we started policing ourselves and making it unpleasant for those who think they are a law unto themselves, which in turn puts the rest of us in danger or a poor light with motorists. I considered doing a bit of shouting to move over in this case, and in other circumstances would have, but I had a supplier and his wife, plus my wife with me, so didnt really want to make a scene. Maybe we could start a thread here and post pics (we all have mobile phones, most with cameras so its easy) of cyclists been idiots, disregarding the law, been disrespectfull etc sooner or later it has to get through.?
vulgar Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Dont think they were the culprits to hold you up for 15min on a stretch of 3km ,as that is almost 3km to were this photo was taking.Bantry bay is full of house works were traffic gets hold up for trucks to deliver material to the site...I train along this road allot and find myself passing cars too,cause everybody was down for the HOLS and finding parking is always difficult at Clifton and Campsbay, dont try and find parking on this road in the hols,public hols or on hot summer days its mayhem. Relax enjoy the scenery(if you were going to show him round doing it Fast aint gonna help)) The guy in white and black on the right is from Canada(Montreal)
