Tarantaraaa! Whipped off the back wheel and the pinch punctures were in a completely different spot to the "crack", talk about a red herring (front was in the same spot). Punctures fixed, wheels re-attached and Dino has shiny new chew toys. Thanks all!

Why did you call the bike a hybrid? Those wheels look like 26" wheels. Hybrids normally have 700c (twenty naainers) road wheels. Does it have a Fatty headshok????

That's what it said on the tin. Slick tyres if that counts for anything? Although I believe the wheels are 26", there are other versions with 700c's - this is the middle of the range one. No Headshok (yet), just a nice chunky unsprung fork for now.

Now it's starting to look more like a Bad Boy. All it needs is a black saddle. Nice piece of Cannondale culture. I once owned "The Beast of The East" MTB.

Bad Boy is road bike, no Fatty oom.

My road bike is similar Cannondale F500 but with fatty. For commuting here in the land where just about every manhole cover has been looted, you might want to think about some fatter, more rugged tyres that can handle impacts. Schwabe make some that are very puncture proof (got off CRC) and bonus: they have a reflective ring embedded in the side walls.
