So last week I started having a light pain in my right elbow. (Inside back of arm, on the spot where your arm rest on the desk when typing on the keyboard)

Over the weekend it got MUCH worse and I also feel it in my left arm now.

It is worst when I straighten my arms.

I did not pick up anything heavy, nor bumped it, didn't sleep on my arm - only thing I have changed the last two weeks was starting to ride a road bike. If this is the course, wouldn't it have started the 1st week already though?

I ALWAYS make sure I dont straighten my arms when I am riding nor do I ever lock my elbows.

The pain feels like 'tennis elbow' if I have to think back to having that quite a few years ago.

Has any one experienced this before from riding bike?

Not the right place for tennis elbow - that is on the outside of the elbow.

Lots of reasons for elbow pain potentially - especially from overuse type injuries - especially from spending too much time typing.... :).

Perhaps gout? Not sure if it only affects one though.. Acidic foods, gout affects the weakend joint, this is my understanding.

Funny but I did think of this, and I wanted to write that I didnt even have a glass of wine of late...didn't change anything to my dieet either though..

Doesn't sound like gout.

Gout would usually affect the big toe first [or at least then the distal (furthest joints first)]. It is also usually bilateral (both left and right side of the body]

hayleyearth, if I look at the circle in the pic it looks like medial epicondylitis (same as tennis elbow, but on the inside of the elbow, also called golfer's elbow.. if you want to read up on it and see if it matches your pain)
