Dibles Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Here's a photo of my WSD bike. As you can see not all ladies bikes are pink, baby blue or "girly". I had a choice of 13 colours when I bought the frame. I agree about resale being an issue. I decided to buy a bike that would last me a long time for that very reason. My previous bike was a mens small and it was way too big so WSD has definitely been beneficial for me. I discovered the frame thanks to an entry in the Bicycling Buyer's Guide.
Zoo Cookie Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 lady specific bike ? not sure, have not tried it.lady specific saddle? yes, yes & yes.

Tumbleweed Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 My issue is that all Ladies specific stuff is pink or baby blue. Why don't they have a black and red LSD bike?? last time i took lsd i saw a lotmore colours than black and red
Zoo Cookie Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 isn't most lady specific bikes more expensive ?
Tumbleweed Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 isn't most lady specific bikes more expensive ? they do seem to be for the spec, but not outrageously so.

Don't think I will ever live down forgetting the carrier bar on my bike now will I It is actually an old photo and I have made other changes too e.g. pedals, saddle, stem etc.

Dibles Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 isn't most lady specific bikes more expensive ? The Santa Cruz Juliana frame is the same price as its male counterpart. When I bought my bike the Scott Contessa was a lot cheaper than the male equivalent. Don't know if this is still the case.

NOT! Well I don't think I could have made a worse first impression if I tried. Unbrushed hair, still walking around in the clothes I slept in, half asleep and three-quarters braindead. At least it was a memorable meeting for both of us.
