What to do? Swoping your roadbike for a mtb - cause motorists don't "see" you. Going to a "safe" place like NF - just to get mugged... Looks like the saying "Safety in numbers" is still our last chance, to get back home in one piece. I think.

I've been to SBR for the first time only two weeks ago. I loved it and at the time thought it was safe riding there. .. I really hope we can find a solution for this problem.

went night riding last week. Had 900 lumens light mounted on the bike. I was slow but some of the guys would not pass me. They claimed to see better when behind me than infront of me. Small battery = 3.5 hours. Waterproop and robust. Solstice Solo +- R2700.

One of the drivers - that idiot that used his "manhood" as an excuse to walk of survivor. Wow, driving drunk in the afternoon, killing inocent schoolboys - how "manly" is that!!??? Paramedics getting raped while attending to a patient. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO???? PLEASE TELL ME!

I had some good service from Grant Cycles in the past, but with Alf Horne gone, I'm not sure where to take my bikes now.

Do spinning during the week 3 times and longer rides on bike over weekends. May not be ideal - but still better than nothing.

I bought my mtb and for about 6 months it was just standing there ... And then one day I decided to go to Groenkloof and it was fun. I did not fall that day. Since then I have fallen off a number of times and they tell me I can expect to fall off some more... Gumpie, I hope you discover the beauty and feeling of feedom that comes with mtbking. It is just so much fun!
