American Classic Aero 420 vs. Mavic Kysirium SL

I am at cross roads, I don't know which wheel to buy. Any advise?

Ksyrium SL stronger and more reliable. Don't even consider American Classic if you are a heavy sprinter type. You may go for the AC if you are a mountain goat weight weenie.

I used a set of the older CR420's which is a very light wheelset. Eventho they had a weight limit I was breaking spokes way too often. The trusted SL's has always been a favourite. Also, the CR40's has a nice 34mm rim profile.

I ride the 420 and at 90kg I haven't broken anything yet, great wheels.

I have had a set of SL's and was quite happy with, even though I had a rim crack, but at your weight you will not have problems with either of them. The SL's are quite hard and uncomfortable. Have a look at campy or fulcrum as well. I am riding with Eurus wheels and they are also strong, but more comfi than the Mavics
