Morning all I used to have a Gt expert 2009 with slx groupset, havent been cycling for some time and looking to get back on a bike.

 

Between the 3 bikes which one would you go for?

hate to admit it, but the merida looks good...

without looking at comp's I'd go for the GT.

 

Question: Have you considered Silverback? a lot more bang for buck?

Based on looks alone I would go GT. Based on components I would go with the Merida (but I would bin the 505's.... and change to 520's at least)

 

What's the difference in price?

Merida.

 

Get a good frame (+fork), you going to end upgrading the other bits around it anyhow, in the long run.
