Is there anyone using Sram shifters with with shimano deraillers or maybe Shimano shifters with Sram deraillers? Im asking because i was told at my LBS that Shimano and Sram are not compatable. RossW Posted September 18, 2012 Share SRAM use a different actuation ratio than Shimano on the RD. Your LBS is correct. Having said that SRAM shifters are compatible with Shimano FD. It's only the RD which are specific. Hope that helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
