I had a bike fit done and was recommended 172.5 cranks on my road bike and 175 on my mtb. I am 181.

But my advice to anyone considering buying new kit in that will change the geometry, ergonomics or performance of the bike is to get a bike fit done first! It costs a lot less than buying the wrong size crank, stem, bike, etc. And once done you have the measurements for life.
