I don't know if the Bike Marshal's will ever read this, but a sincere thanks from me and my team. We had a team mate cramp from about half way, but we refused to let him go and he refused to give in. We were probably one of the last teams home, but there was this one bike marshal that stuck with us and 'ushered' cars past us every now and again. Turned out to be quite an emosional day for us One Tonner virgin's and DC wannabe's, but worth every minute. Nothing like cameraderie. Thanks again Biker.

I'm sure you guys had Dev with you, I'll pass on your thanks

Well done to all of you, it was quite an epic day.

That 20km to go marker was about 3-4 kms out!

I was toast from 30kays to the finish, with the beginnings of cramp, so laboured home from there feeling every rise in the road at that point. But it was good training none the less and will all go towards improving the legs as the season comes on!

It didnt feel that way .... I was referrring to the difference in the distance to go at the water tables compared to the flags ...
