TAF = Terminal Aerodrome Report

FALA = Lanseria (all airports and aviation areas in South Africa begin with FA as described my the International Civil Aviation Organisation ICAO)

1206/1306 = the timeframe that the TAF is valid for. In this case it is valid from 06H00 on the 12th to 06H00 on the 13th.

03010KT is the wind direction of 030 degrees and speed on 10 knots

9999 is the visibility in KM. In this case visibility is 10km or more

BKN025 is the cloud cover in Octas as well as the height of the base of the cloud. In this case the cloud cover is 5-7 Octas at an altitude of 2500 feet

TEMPO 1206/1207 5000 BR -SHRA BKN010 FEW040CB

TEMPO = Temporarily

1206/1207 is the date and time for which this occurs ie 06h00 to 07h00 on the 12th

5000 = decrease in visibility from 10km+ to 5km

BR = Mist

-SHRA = minor thunderstorm with rain

BKN010 is the low level cloud of 5-7 octas at 1000 feet

FEW040CB is the mid level cloud of 1-2 octas at 4000 feet with embedded Cumulonimbus clouds

If you want I can go on to decode the rest of the TAF and then the metars?
