Ive had the small piece of duct tape in the saddle bag for quite a long while now. On a ride this morning with the MTB Tandem the rear wheel popped with the sound of a small firearm. It blew out on the sidewall between the bead and the sidewall. Taped it with duct tape on the inside and over onto the outside. We managed to reach home that was 7,0 km away.

See the piccie below.

I have isolution tape wrapped around my seatpost. There is always a use for it. Once a cabletie broke which held the front brake cable, taped it. Other time my gf fell, one m0€rse hole in her elbow, I just wrapped it up and she rode the 20kms home. Luckily she couldn't see the damage... :)

Duct tape, the Chuck Norris of tape. Used it yesterday to repair my potatoe cannon.

On mythbusters they even picked up a car with duct tape

I don't tackle something like the Trans Baviaans without at least half a roll of tape (insulation or otherwise) and 5 cable ties. Fixes anything.
