Thanks Gummi. Just wish I can now find the time to work on my dual that I started building....

 

here is some of the parts I have finished for that so far.... rear triangle and linkage parts....

Not at all bud. The project has been dormant for quite a while so another couple of days/weeks wont hurt lol

The ss is for ever evolving

the dual ( all mountain)

another dual (XC)

another ss (Reynolds tubing)

road bike

working on designs for a fatty

and a bamboo build beginning to realize.

 

That's all standing at the moment as I have a few paint jobs that is getting preference at the moment.

 

a 8th project will happen if I can source some wheels... my ultimate fantasy.... a 36er single speed :w00t:

To what thickness did you layer (or how many layers) the carbon on that rear triangle parts for the ds?

Many layers. If I remember correctly in some areas up to 16 layers. Im no light weight nor am I a weight weenie so I rather layer a bit more and ha e something strong than a piece of spaghetti wallowing under me. ????

The building is just a hobby at this stage BUT I do do carbon repairs. Why? Want to offer me a job? ????
